Joe Sukenick has been a photographer for most of his life. With
the advent of professional digital photography, his artistic talent,
once limited by the constraints of film and what could be
accomplished in a darkroom, emerged in a way that
allowed his artistic vision to be realized. The creative possibilities
available when working with professional digital images are
endless. He now produces artistically created intimate slices of time that
strive to reveal the personalities of his clients and
the emotions of an event.
His style of
photography blends the best of the traditional posed
portraits and a keen eye for the
photojournalistic opportunities that mark the character
of the event. He photographs the feelings along with
the looks that tell the story of the event.
He believes a photo session should be
enjoyable for everyone
involved and enjoys working in the studio, on assignment,
or documenting the joy shared at a wedding. His unique
artistic style and approach to capturing memories will result in images
that you and your family will cherish for many years.
Joe teaches
and lectures on image restoration, portrait retouching
and digital workflow to professional photographic groups
and individuals in Pennsylvania and New York. He
has helped several photographers make the
transition from film to digital.
He also is available to do One-On-One training in
Digital Photography and can get you up and running with
Adobe Photoshop from the Basics to Advanced Techniques
in Digital Manipulation, Portrait Retouching, and Image
Restoration.
His work has appeared in several magazines including
Skateboarding, Greater Philadelphia House and Home, and
Oprah Magazine.
